Learn the basics of dying wool and other fibers such as alpaca or silk with Sue Erhardt, fiber arts enthusiast and Midland FiberArts Guild member. Focused on natural dyes, participants will learn how to forage for color with an eye on sustainability, plant their own garden, prepare a dye bath and materials to be dyed. Participants will dye their own samples of wool to take home. Meet at the Homestead Farm. Registration is required.
